Yesterday in class we dug a bit deeper into irony. We learnt about three different types of it, dramatic irony, situational irony and verbal irony. We learnt that situational irony means showing the opposite of what you expect to happen, dramatic irony is when the viewers know something the characters don't and verbal irony is when you basically say the opposite of what you mean, usually sarcastic. After that we watched a couple videos and were then challenged to make an ironic comic.
This is me and Zoe's comic, it's situational irony.
