Super Samoan Counting - With Herb!

____________________________________________________________
Kia Ora bloggers,!
We are learning Salmon every Wednesday.
Over the last two weeks, we have been learning how to count to ten in Samoan. It wasn't too hard, as it was really close to counting in Te Reo Maori. We had to use Scratch to make a program to help others learn how to count to ten, so here it is! Please tell me if you find any bugs so I can spend like half an hour trying to fix it <3

Mean Median and Mode with Herb~

Kia Ora Bloggers!
In Maths, we've been revisiting Mean, Median and Mode.
We were told to use Scratch to showcase what Mean Median and Mode actually were and how to find them. I created an account called herbert-chan if you'd like to follow me and check out future projects!
Have you used Scratch before?

Super Samoan Numbers!

Talofa bloggers!
We learnt how to count in Samoan on Wednesday, and we had to work alone or in pairs to create a slide showcasing all the numbers in English and Samoan.
Me and Henry decided to work together, and created this horrible cursed slide.
If you get nightmares easily, I suggest you don't watch :0

What languages can you count in?

Fun Family Trees!

Kia Ora bloggers!
This is my family tree.
I used Family Echo to make it, but since I don't have an account I had to end up screenshotting it.
I tried to do as much of my family as I could, but I couldn't remember some.

From what I know, we're all from New Zealand, although my dad lived in Canada for almost all of his childhood.

Where does your family originate from?

Have a nice day or night!

Pretty Portraits!

Kia Ora!
We all know what time it is.
The school year has started and we're drawing portraits!
Our portraits are based on an artist called Romero Britto's drawings. He uses bright colours and odd shapes to make cool pop art.

(almost) Every aspect of my drawing is something I love!
Top right: Naruto

Middle right: Goat
Middle left: Chromosome Studios
Bottom Left: Movies
Bottom Right: Drawing

Do you like any of these things?

Blissful Bar Graphs

Kia Ora Bloggers!
In Math we've been quickly re-visiting bar graphs to see how good we could make them.
We had a first attempt with no guidance, and then after that we got a checklist with all the things we needed to include

Here's my first one:
I only got a few things right, like using a ruler and having my numbers go up in equal amounts.
But I still missed out some things, like I needed a more detailed title.

After seeing the checklist we got to have another attempt.
This one was much better! I tried to make the title as long as possible. Because that's detail!

This time I also made it a lot more neat and pretty.

Anyways, that's it!
