This week in numeracy we've been looking at some angles and polygons.

 We have been finding the interior angles of a shape and drawing some shapes using a compass that you draw circles with.

Spectacular Scientist

During lock-down our Literacy group had to design and make backstories for a Scientist.

I named my scientist Terry McSkwak and decided to make them a bit crazy.

Brain What thoughts are Circling in his/her head:  
Eyes How does he/she see the world (what is their opinion on the world; any problem in particular)?: 
Mouth A memorable quote from your scientist:
Hand What is the most important thing in the world to this scientist (someone or something they could never lose?):
Heel What is his/her flaw/weakness?: 
Heart What is his/her motivation?  What do they want to accomplish?:
Back What is his/her roots?  Who raised them?  What is their background?:

I drew this on an app called Ibis Paint, and although I made some mistakes, like giving the assistant normal hand and the scientist weird forks and also forgetting to add the back of the lab coat, I'm pretty proud of this drawing and the story I came up with for them.

This was really fun to make, to be honest! I've never really drawn a scientist so it was a bit hard but that just made it more interesting to make.
